First New York FCU Speaks to New Teachers
First New York Federal Credit Union was asked to attend and speak at this event to highlight our KIDS Banking Program within the school district. We spoke about the importance of offering financial services at an early age and how parents have access to our investment services, as well.
Through our KIDS Banking Program and partnership with SCSD, we’re able to provide kids elementary through high school the chance to open and contribute to a savings account during the school day. We also offer exclusive prizes, promotions, and FNY scholarships to our KIDS Bankers, who can open an account with just $1.
Learn More About Our School Banking Program
At First New York Federal Credit Union, we understand the important role a solid financial education plays in the development of children and teens. We believe that offering a KID$ Savings program and e-z access is an excellent way to teach students financial literacy skills at an early age. Children and teens who learn to save today will be more likely to make wise savings and investment decisions in the future.
If your school is not already participating in our KID$ Program, please contact First New York’s Marketing Department, (518) 393-1326 ext. 1800 or email marketingdepartment@firstnewyork.org.
