With our newest technology, powered through Illuma, our Contact Center can confirm your identity using your voice, instead of the traditional security questions. It’s an added layer of security and saves you time on every call!

 

The next time you call our Contact Center, we’ll ask for your permission to capture a voiceprint. Our system will then analyze your unique voice characteristics during the call and securely store them. This way, on future calls, you can skip the security questions, making the process faster, easier, and enhancing the security of your accounts.

Why?

Voice authentication makes verifying your identity over the phone more secure and much faster.

How does it work?

By measuring your voice’s unique characteristics, like pitch and pronunciation, our voice verification system creates a digital voiceprint that can be used to verify your identity.

What if I have a cold?

Your voiceprint contains over 100 different characteristics. The slight changes to your voice from a cold or scratchy throat don’t alter your voice enough to be a problem. And if the voiceprint ever failed to authenticate you, we can always utilize security questions.

What does it cost me?

Not even one penny! There is no cost to use this service.

Where is my voiceprint stored

Just like all our member information, voiceprints are securely stored, encrypted, and subject to strict safety measures and controls.

How long is my voiceprint active?

Voiceprints are active for six months from the most recent call. After six months, we can simply re-enroll members back into the system during the next call.
