2025 Supervisory Committee is Seeking Volunteers
The individuals responsible for the growth and success of First New York are the volunteers on the Board of Directors and Committees. First New York is now seeking volunteers to serve on the Supervisory Committee. Each appointment made by the Board of Directors is for a one year term. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be interviewed by the selection committee.
Being a First New York volunteer means dedicating a significant amount of time and energy to the credit union on a regular basis. Some time requirements are:
- Quarterly Committee Meetings: usually 1-2 hours
- Special Meetings: once or twice per year, usually late afternoon or evening
- Completion of self-study program to gain an understanding of the credit union industry and First New York Federal Credit Union
