When you send a text message to 454-545, you’ll be connected to your account information, quickly, and securely, at any time. The shortcode messaging exchange allows you to stay on top of your financial matters. With Automated Text Banking, you can see your checking and savings balances, transfer funds, and view the last five transactions on these accounts.

Register your phone for text messaging by logging into your First OnLine account, going to the mobile banking and alerts tab, and clicking the activate button to follow the quick three-step process to register for this free* service.

Commands

Text these commands to 454-545 to operate First New York’s text banking service.

  • Bal all
    • View all your account balances
  • Last
    • View your last 5 transactions on the primary account
  • Trans
    • Transfer funds to the primary account
  • Bal chk
    • View the account balance of a checking account
  • Bal sav
    • View the account balance of a savings account
  • Help
    • Receive a full list of shortcodes
  • Stop
    • Deactivate text message banking service
