My First New York is Now Available! 

Any member with an active digital banking account can now walk through a quick, safe, and user-friendly registration process.

Downloading the New App:

To get the new First New York mobile app, you can either:

  • Delete your current app and download the latest version from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (search First New York FCU) or
  • Simply click “Update” next to your app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Any member with a digital banking account will walk through a quick, safe, and user-friendly process on or after the morning of February 11.

You must also delete your current First New York mobile app and download the new one from your app store. We will provide links as the day gets closer.

To create your account on My First New York, you will need:

  • Member Number
  • Social Security Number
  • Birthdate
  • Zip Code
  • Email address
  • Home/Main phone number

If you don’t have these or are unsure, our Contact Center can help you: 518-393-1326, option #2.

Not at all. Your accounts will be transferred to My First New York without changes.

Zelle will also be discontinued as part of our digital banking solution. We anticipate that members will be able to use the Zelle app with their First New York account through March 31, 2025. After that date, Zelle will no longer support our members.

We also hope to have a Person-To-Person (P2P) solution available again soon.

We recommend using Bill Pay or external account transfers to send money.
